Rockingham Cavaliers is owned by Tom & Jan Donnell -- although it has been suggested that Tom and Jan are owned by the Rockingham Cavaliers!
We have enjoyed a wonderful life together so far! We raised our family in California, Oregon, and later Arizona. We are both experienced pilots. Tom is an avid golfer, and Jan keeps busy with her wholesale and retail jewelry business. We both enjoy the company of our cavaliers!
We were introduced to this breed when we first saw our adorable Abbey. She quickly stole our hearts and took her place in our family.
There is a saying among cavalier owners that they are like potato chips - one is not enough! We certainly find that to be true.
In 2005, we attended a meeting of the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club of Central Arizona. We became interested in showing in AKC, and it wasn't too long before we were able to bring a beautiful tricolor dog to live with us - Balgaire Carter the Star ("Carter"). Carter has a lovely pedigree and is currently working on his championship.

We are proud to have added to our little cavalier clan our darling Bentley Priory Rockin Ivy Rose ("Ivy"). Ivy is the daughter of Ch. Crizwood Rock Steady, a stunning, nationally top-ranked dog. We are excited at the promise that Ivy brings to Rockingham. Ivy is just a puppy, but is already pointed and doing well in the show ring.
Our dogs are all dual registered with both the AKC and the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club, USA, and we are enjoying showing in both venues.
We are grateful to those breeders who have entrusted us with some lovely and cherished cavaliers. We appreciate their continued support and mentoring.
